The Institute for Technology and Management – Institute of Financial Markets ( ITM-IFM ) Navi Mumbai, is a Business School run by ITM Group which is a Nonprofit organisation. Also known as ITM Institute of Financial Markets. (Note these aforementioned organizations are NOT affiliated The Institute for Financial Markets (IFM), based in Washington, D.C., which is a qualified nonprofit organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Service Code.
Courses & Recognition
- 2-year full-time program - Post Graduate Diploma in Management – Financial Markets ( PGDM-FM ). PGDM-FM : Financial Markets program is a regular MBA programme. It is an AICTE approved course in management. The program also has an “A” grade accreditation from National Assessment and Accreditation Council.
ITM – IFM has been graded by CRISIL B-School Ratings as A in All India and A* in Maharashtra.
Admission Procedure
The eligibility criterion is a Bachelor's Degree from any recognized university under Association of Indian Universities with minimum 50% marks aggregate. Final year students may also apply.
Candidate appearing/appeared in CAT/MAT/XAT/GMAT have to fill up a separate application form of the ITM Group.
Selected candidates will be called for Micro Presentation and Personal Interview round at interview centre organized throughout the country.
Research and Lab
Research is an interim part of the curriculum. Simulation Lab setup at its Kharghar, Navi Mumbai campus is the key source for research and training in Financial market. Mock trading sessions designed are really amazing at developing the understanding of the markets. The lab facilitates the training in analytic and technical strategies used for anticipating the future markets movements.
The Simulation lab does provide this course an edge. The course curriculum is also specifically designed to focus primarily on Finance starting from the very first semester.
