The ICC Academy Ground is a cricket ground located in Dubai Sports City, Dubai. ICC Academy provides state-of-the-art facilities with indoor and outdoor pitches, complemented by the latest technology to allow coaches to assess all areas of a player’s game.[1] ICC Academy Oval 1 has hosted a total of 18 Twenty20 matches, of which 8 have been international matches. ICCA will be used for the 2014 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup. The two cricket grounds are installed with floodlights.[2]
In 2014, a match between Ireland and Scotland in Dubai Triangular Series 2014–15 was called off. This was the first time that an ODI in the UAE had been a no result.[3][4]
