Horace J Knowles
Horace J Knowles ( 1884 - 1954 ) was an author and illustrator. Known mostly for his biblical illustrations i.e. New English Bible,[1] he was also the author and illustrator of "Peeps into Fairyland[2]". He also worked with his brother Reginald K Knowles, on many illustrations for books ( e.g. Legends from Fairyland[3] ).
His style, similar to his brother, has often been described as Art Nouveau.
