Heart Tells Your Head is the second full-length studio album by American singer-songwriter Tim Halperin. Released on February 11, 2014,[1] it peaked at No. 21 on Billboard's Top Heatseekers chart.[2]
History
Halperin's second album Heart Tells Your Heart was recorded throughout 2013. The fifth track, "Hey 17," featured vocals by rapper Trip Lee.[3] The single "Truth" was offered as a free download before the release of the full album.[4] The album was released digitally on February 11, 2014 through iTunes,[5] with a percentage of the profits from the release going to the children's charity founded by Kidd Kraddick.[4] Heart Tells Your Heart reached No. 2 on the iTunes singer-songwriter charts within a day, holding as well in the Top 20 Overall within the next week.[4] It soon peaked at No. 21 on the Billboard Top Heatseekers chart,[2] and tracks from the album also appeared on MTV.[6]
The Hudsucker compared the album positively to his previous work, stating, "If you like piano-driven alternative-pop with lyrics that tell a story, you need to listen to Tim Halperin," praising his "sincere songwriting coupled with his smooth and soulful voice."[7]
