Hamid M.K. Al-Naimiy
Professor Hamid M. K. Al- Naimiy is Professor of Astronomy & Astrophysics, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Dean College of Sciences at the University of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates,[1] and President of the Arab Union for Astronomy and Space Sciences.
Education
Al-Naimy received his B.Sc in Physics from the University of Baghdad, Iraq in 1971. He then went on to the University of Manchester in England, where he received a MSc in Astronomy in 1975, and his PhD in Astrophysics in 1977.
