Gymnopilus ventricosus is a species of mushroom in the Cortinariaceae family. It was described from the Stanford University campus by Franklin Sumner Earle as Pholiota ventricosa in 1902.
Description
The cap is 7 to 8 cm (2.8 to 3.1 in) in diameter.[2]Contains no psilocybin
