Guest-tek
Guest-Tek Interactive Entertainment Ltd. is a provider of IP based technology solutions to the global hospitality industry.[1]
History
The company was founded in 1996 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada as a provider of High Speed Internet Access to North American hotels. At the time Guest-tek sold its Global Suite internet solution to higher end hotels, installing equipment in guest rooms, meeting spaces and other common areas of the hotel property.
In 2014 Guest-tek announced the acquisition of their partner TelNet Corporation which paved the way for the provider's OneView Voice iACT Solution.[2] Shortly thereafter the company finalized the acquisition of their rival iBAHN.[3]
Products
Guest-tek provides hotels with interactive technologies managed from a single source including: data, high speed internet (HSIA), HD IPTV, HD video on demand, voice and mobile applications. Guest-tek's myAway TV allows hotel guests to stream their own content from personal electronic devices to their guest room TVs.[4] Their OneView platform uses a converged IP network that is either Ethernet or Coax based.[5]
