Jithan is a 2005 Tamil supernatural romantic thriller film directed by Vincent Selva. The film stars debutant Jithan Ramesh, Pooja, R. Sarathkumar, Livingston and Kalabhavan Mani. The film was written by Ram Gopal Varma and produced by Raadan Network, owned by Raadhika. Its score and soundtrack were composed by Srikanth Deva. The film is a remake of Bollywood film Gayab[1][2] and was a surprise hit.

Plot

Priya breaks the affair with Surya after she gets a proposal from a rich man Ajay. Surya by accident becomes invisible. He hits Ajay and advises Priya to give up Ajay. As he is invisible and others can only hear his voice, he tells them that he is God. Taking the advantage of invisibility, he loots a bank. Thamizharasu is the ACP who is assigned to investigate the bank robbery.Later on in the film Surya reveals that he'd loved Priya (Pooja)since his childhood. Then Singampuli shoots Surya as the rain reveals the invisible Surya.

The satellite rights of the film were secured by Sun TV. The film was given a "U/A" certificate by the Indian Censor Board.
