Gelechia paroxynta is a moth of the Gelechiidae family. It is found in Tibet.[1]
The wingspan is about 20 mm. The forewings are fuscous, slightly sprinkled darker and with a very small dark fuscous spot on the base of the costa and some dark fuscous irroration beneath the costa anteriorly. The stigmata are moderate, cloudy, dark fuscous, the plical obliquely before the first discal, an additional dot near beyond and slightly above the first discal. There is a semi-oval dark fuscous spot on the costa somewhat beyond the second discal and several whitish linear marks beneath the costa posteriorly. Some indistinct dark fuscous dots are found around the apical margin. The hindwings are light grey.[2]
