Gary Lee Wilhelms (born January 17, 1938), was an American politician who was a member of the Oregon House of Representatives.[1] He was House Republican Leader in 1979.
He was born in Astoria, Oregon and was a manager for Pacific Northwest Bell.[2][3] In 2011, Wilhelms was named Chief of Staff for Kevin Cameron, Oregon House Republican Leader.[4] He has also served as an adviser in the position of Chief of Staff to House Speaker Karen Minnis, and assistant to Senate President Brady Adams and House Speaker Lynn Snodgrass. Wilhelms has also sat on the Public Commission on the Legislature and as a member of the Oregon Government Ethics Commission.
