G.S. Ergotelis (Greek: Γυμναστικός Σύλλογος Εργοτέλης, Gymnastikos Syllogos Ergotelis), the Gymnastics Club Ergotelis, is a Greek multi sport club based in Heraklion, Crete. The name of the club was inspired by that of the famous ancient Cretan expatriate Olympic runner Ergoteles of Himera. Officially founded in 1929, Ergotelis' colours are yellow and black. The club runs multiple football and basketball departments for both men and women domestic competitions.

Football
G.S. Ergotelis maintains multiple football departments for both men and women playing in various regional and domestic competitions. The top-level Ergotelis Football Club is based in Heraklion and is the club's oldest department, officially established in 1929.[1] The club currently competes in the Gamma Ethniki, the third tier of the Greek football league system, and hosts its home games at the club's traditional home turf, the Martinengo Stadium. Ergotelis F.C. is one of the two Heraklion-based football clubs to have competed in the Greek Superleague, the country's top-level football competition, having made a total of 9 appearances during 2004–2015. Other men's football departments being ran by G.S. Ergotelis include Young Ergotelis (♂) (Greek: Νέοι Εργοτέλη, Neoi Ergoteli), Ergotelis' Canaries (Greek: Κανάρια Εργοτέλη, Kanaria Ergoteli) and Martinengo (Greek: Μαρτινένγκο, Martinengo), consisting primarily of young athletes from the club's training academies and currently competing in various levels of Heraklion's FCA football league pyramid.
Alongside Ergotelis F.C., the club maintains a strong women's football department, Young Ergotelis (♀) (Greek: Νέες Εργοτέλη, Nees Ergoteli), which currently competes in the Greek A Division, the highest professional women's football league in Greece. In a similar fashion to the men's team, G.S. Ergotelis maintains a second women's football department simply named G.S. Ergotelis (Greek: Γ.Σ. Εργοτέλης), consisting primarily of young athletes, that plays in the Gamma Ethniki, the third tier of the Greek women's football league system.
Basketball
The club's men's basketball department was founded on 1968, the same year it joined the registers of the Greek Federation of Sporting Clubs.[2] In 1983, Ergotelis was one of the clubs that signed the establishment of the Creatn Basketball Associations Union.[3] Currently, both men's and women's basketball departments are amateur clubs, that host home games at the Lido Sports Hall in Heraklion, a basketball court with a capacity of 1,400 spectators.[4]
