French ship Renommée

Several ships of the French navy have borne the name Renommée:

Renommée, captured in 1651 by HMS Nonsuch, renamed as HMS Renown and sold in 1654.
Renommée, captured in 1747 by HMS Dover, renamed as HMS Renown and broken up in 1771.
Renommée, captured in 1796 by HMS Alfred and broken up in September 1810.
Renommée (1808), a 40-gun Pallas-class frigate captured in 1811, renamed HMS Java and was captured by USS Constitution and subsequently burnt in 1813.
