The Freitage Homestead is located in Washington, Green County, Wisconsin. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.[1]
History
Contributing buildings in the homestead were constructed from 1862 to 1906.[2] The land has been owned by the Freitag family since 1869. Previously, it belonged to Fridolin Streiff, one of the co-founders of New Glarus, Wisconsin.
