ForgeLight
The ForgeLight engine is an MMO game engine developed by Daybreak Game Company (formerly Sony Online Entertainment).[1]
Forgelight features:
- Real-time radiosity
- Nvidia PhysX (SDK 3.2)
- Motion blur
- Fully Flexible Time of Day System
- Eye adaptation & HDR lighting
- Support for Microsoft DirectX 9 & DirectX 11
- Supports both Static Mesh and Voxel terrain
- Atmospheric scattering
- Volumetric fog
- Advanced ambient occlusion
- Advanced Environmental lighting
- Support for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One[2][3]
- Allows up to 2000 players to play multiplayer simultaneously in a single game server
The engine has been used for Free Realms, Clone Wars Adventures, PlanetSide 2, Landmark, EverQuest Next, H1Z1: Just Survive, and H1Z1: King of the Kill.[4]
