For Me is a song performed by British pop singer Chloe Rose. It was written and recorded to celebrate 30 years of the ChildLine charity in the UK.[1][2] In 2016, when she was 15 years old, singer Chloe Rose was asked to record a song for NSPCC's ChildLine service to celebrate their 30th anniversary.[3] The song was written and produced by Mike Stock who had written the ChildLine hit single You've Got A Friend, in 1990 for Stock Aitken Waterman acts Big Fun and Sonia.
The song was debuted at Manchester United and England captain Wayne Rooney's testimonial match during half time, in front of 60,000 people. The evening raised money in aid of the Wayne Rooney Foundation which supports several charities including NSPCC and ChildLine.[4][5]
The music video For Me was directed by Lee Cheney and premiered on Youtube and on the Chloe Rose VEVO channel on August 15th.[6]
The song was released on iTunes worldwide on 9th September 2016. All proceeds from the record will go to the Wayne Rooney Foundation, supporting NSPCC and ChildLine.
