Fernando Bernal (born 7 May 1941) is a Cuban male former weightlifter, who competed in the +110 kg category and represented Cuba at international competitions. He won the bronze medal in the clean & jerk at the 1971 World Weightlifting Championships lifting 197.5 kg. Bernal won silver in the super-heavyweight class (+110 kg) at the 1971 Pan American Games as well as bronze in the super-heavyweight class (+110 kg) at the 1975 Pan American Games. He participated at the 1972 Summer Olympics in the +110 kg event.[1]
