Ferdinand Kovačević

Ferdinand Kovačević (1838–1913) was a Croatian inventor, engineer, and pioneer in telegraphy who originated from Gospić (actually near Smiljan[1]).[2] He invented the duplex connection of telegraphic transmission,[3] patented in 1876 in Vienna and Budapest.[4]
