The Federation of Master Builders (FMB) is a UK trade association established in 1941 to protect the interests of small and medium-sized building firms.
The FMB is independent and non-profit-making, lobbying for members' interests at both national and local levels. As of 2016, the FMB is the largest construction trade association in the UK, representing over 8,000 construction SMEs.[1]
With three other trade associations, it is represented on the UK government's Strategic Forum for Construction through the Construction Alliance.
