Farnes Church (Norwegian: Farnes kyrkje) is a parish church in Årdal Municipality in Sogn og Fjordane county, Norway. It is located in the village of Øvre Årdal. The church is part of the Øvre Årdal parish in the Indre Sogn deanery in the Diocese of Bjørgvin. The large, red, brick church was built in 1970. The building was designed by the architect Per Solemslie from the architecture firm Arnstein Arneberg. The church was consecrated on 12 April 1970 by the bishop Per Juvkam. The church seats about 700 people.[1][2]
