Fade Kainer was born in Germany, lives in Brooklyn, New York and is an Industrial music musician, producer,[1] and visual artist. Kainer is a current member of bands Statiqbloom,[2][3] Tombs (band),[4] and Theologian, and was previously in Jarboe,[5] Batillus, Inswarm, and Still Life Decay.[6]

Trivia
- Kainer is the great-nephew of the late actor, Feodor Chaliapin Jr., who appeared in such motion pictures as The Name of the Rose (film) and The Church (film).
- A teen-aged Kainer can be seen in the background of the 1993 Mark Dacascos film, Only the Strong (film), during a playground fight where Dacascos' character, Louis Stevens, beats up drug dealers.
