Evdokiya Alekseevna Germanova (Russian: Евдокия Алексеевна Германова; born 8 November 1959) is a Russian film and stage actress.
Career
Germanova graduated from the Russian Academy of Theatre Arts in 1986 (acting course of Oleg Tabakov and Avangard Leontyev). One year later she joined the studio theater of Oleg Tabakov. She played in the performances of the Moscow Art Theatre as well as independent theater projects.
Germanova debuted in film in 1975. She played more than seventy roles in films and serials, winning film festivals and awards.
She is the head of the workshop of theatre faculty at the Moscow Institute of Television and Radio, "Ostankino".
Personal life
She married and divorced Sergei Herman without issue. For a time she raised Kolya, an orphan, but returned him to the orphanage, alleging inappropriate physical attacks.
She is the sister of actress Lyubov Germanova.
