European Marketing Distribution
European Marketing Distribution (EMD) is a European purchasing organization for grocery stores. EMD was established in 1989.
The 16 members of EMD represent more than 150,000 stores in 16 countries. Asda became the 16th member of EMD in 2016.[1]
