Estadio Francisco Zarco
The Estadio Francisco Zarco is a multi-use stadium in the Mexican city of Durango. The stadium holds 18,000[1] people. It is used mostly for football matches, and is the home stadium of Alacranes de Durango (as of 2014–15, playing in the third tier of Mexican football)[2] and of fourth-tier club Dorados de Villa (Teca Huixquilucan).[3][4] The stadium is owned by the state of Durango.[5]
In February 2015, the State Ministry of Public Works stated the stadium and surroundings were to be the subject of improvement works – not, as had been suggested, demolition[6] – and private investment was being invited.[7]
