Ernest Winter (birth registered January→March 1910 (age 105–106)
[1]) birth registered in Pontefract district, is a former English professional rugby league footballer of the 1930s, playing at representative level for England, and at club level for Featherstone Rovers, and Hunslet, as a Centre, i.e. number 2 or 4.
Playing career
International honours
Ernest Winter won a cap for England while at Featherstone Rovers in 1933 against Other Nationalities.[2]
Championship final appearances
Ernest Winter played Centre, i.e. number 4, and scored a try in Hunslet's 8-2 victory over Leeds in the Championship final during the 1937–38 season at Elland Road on Saturday 30 April 1938.[3]
