Treephort
Treephort is an American punk rock band from Marietta, Georgia.
An article by the Associated Press (AP) brought the band international attention in 2004 for their stage antics while on tour.[1]
Before this attention, Treephort toured the U.S. intensively, even playing most of the 2003 Vans Warped Tour.
Treephort disbanded in late 2004.
Treephort reunited with various former members for one show, January 29, 2005, and again for a week-long tour in the Summer of 2007.
Treephort vocalist, songwriter, and founder, Lee Satterfield owns and operates Swayze's Venue and Swayze's Comics in Marietta, Georgia.
In February 2009 Satterfield reunited Treephort with former drummer Sonny Harding. According to Treephort's official Myspace page, the band has reformed and is currently playing shows and is releasing a new album in May 2009. A handful of songs off the new album are posted on the band's Myspace (www.myspace.com/treephort). The band's official website (www.treephort.com) is back up, however the site seems to be under construction as there is not much information (and only links to other sites) currently. The last week of December, 2011, Treephort went on a short tour accompanied by Bamboo Forest.
