Enchanted Forest (Rhode Island)
The Enchanted Forest, a fairy tale-themed amusement park was opened in 1971 in Hope Valley, Hopkinton, Rhode Island. Throughout its lifetime it was mainly oriented to younger kids and families. The park contained rides such as a kid roller coaster, bumper cars, a merry go round, as well as having a live petting zoo. The Enchanted Forest was closed in 2005 due to low money flow and is currently for sale. The park is accessible due to the lack of fencing but trespassers will be arrested by the Hopkinton police. Some of the rides including the coaster were sold to Edaville.
