Emir Eksioglu (born 9 June 1994, Istanbul) is a Turkish journalist, the owner and the editor in chief of Boxer and a Huffington Post author.

Biography

Emir Ekşioğlu was born in Istanbul in 9 June 1994 into one of the prominent families of Rize. He started his journalism career at FourFourTwo, then moved on to Boxer, Radikal[1] and Cumhuriyet.[2] He interviewed internationally famous people such as Kareem Abdul-Jabbar,[3] Frank Abagnale[4] and Paul Rusesabagina.[5] In 2016, he bought Boxer (magazine), where he previously used to work, from The Nikkei and founded Boxer MG.[6] Ekşioğlu is also one of the youngest media bosses and one of the youngest journalists in Turkey.

Ekşioğlu also used to host a show on a sports radio in 2014[7] and he is currently an author at the Huffington Post.[8]
