The Eckle Round Barn was located near Shelby in rural Pottawattamie County, Iowa. It was built in 1928 and has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1986.[1] The building was a true round barn that measured 54 feet (16.5 m) around.[2] The barn featured white horizontal siding, a two-pitch sectional roof, aerator and a 14-foot (4.3 m) silo.[2] The structure has subsequently been torn down.
