Doug Hoyer

Doug Hoyer is a pop-rock artist from Edmonton, Alberta. Since 2009, Hoyer has been a prominent member of the Edmonton based music collective, OLD UGLY Recording Co. Active since 2003, Hoyer began as a cast member of the reality show Rock Camp,[1] which aired on CBC Television in 2004, featuring Joel Plaskett and various guests. He has since released two eponymous 12"'s, one 7", three EPs, and, as Bike Month, two full length tape cassettes.

Collaboration

Hoyer has toured Canada several times since 2008, including once with Sean Nicholas Savage, once with Michael Rault, and twice with The Joe. He has played in and collaborated with numerous outfits including Liam Trimble, Jessica Jalbert, Christian Hansen, and Born Gold. His side project, Bike Month, features extensive collaboration with dozens of his cohort, which includes The Joe, Gobble Gobble, Michael Rault, Andy Shauf, Chris Blackmore, Mitchmatic, Mikey Maybe, Liam Trimble, and Jessica Jalbert.
