Dorohusk [dɔˈrɔxusk] (Ukrainian: Дорогуськ, Dorohus’k) is a village in Chełm County, Lublin Voivodeship, in eastern Poland, close to the border with Ukraine.[1] It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Dorohusk. It lies approximately 24 kilometres (15 mi) east of Chełm and 88 km (55 mi) east of the regional capital Lublin.
The village has a population of 517.
Jews
The town had a Jewish population before the Holocaust who were murdered by the Nazi's and their Polish/Ukrainian helpers.
