Donje is a village in the Haveli taluka of Pune district in Maharashtra State, India.[1] Tanaji Malusare Path (Sinhagad Road) which starts at Sarasbaug junction terminates at Sinhagad Fort Base or Paitha at Donje village. It is at a distance of 30 km from Pune city.
In the News
In 2007, the village was in the news, when a rave party was busted by Pune rural police at a mango farm. The arrested youth and girls included call centre and IT firm employees, sons and daughters of affluent businessmen, air hostesses and college students.[2]
