Dimitris Melikiotis (Greek: Δημήτρης Μελικιώτης; born 10 July 1996 in Veria), is a Greek footballer who plays for Veria F.C. in the Superleague Greece, as a Winger and Forward.[1]
Career
Melikiotis signed his professional contract on 6 February 2014.[2] So far he didn't make his official squad debut, though he was selected during 2013–14 season, three times as first team substitute. Despite his young age, he was selected by his current coach Georgios Georgiadis to follow Veria to their main pre season preparation part, in Arnhem. He is also registered as a Superleague player. He made his professional debut against PAS Giannina in an away 2–0 defeat.
International career
On October 4, 2016, Antonis Nikopolidis head coach of Greece national under-21 football team called up Melikiotis for his first time ever in his career to the national team for the games against Hungary national under-21 football team and Israel national under-21 football team.[3]
