Denny Barney is an American politician from the state of Arizona. A member of the Republican Party, Hickman serves on the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors representing the 1st district. He works ARCUS Private Capital Solutions, a specialized realty investment and finance company, and is CEO of Landmark Companies. He has served on Maricopa County Planning and Zoning Commission and the boards of the United Food Bank, Arizona board of American Indian Services, Commission on Excellence in Education and various Banner Health Advisory boards.
Education
Barney earned Bachelor of Arts degree in international relations and a law degree from Arizona State University.[1]
Elections
Barney was first elected to the board in 2012.[2]
He was reelected in 2016 over Democratic challenger Matthew Cerra, receiving 53.66% of the vote[3]
Barney was elected as a delegate to the 2016 Republican National Convention, but resigned citing family commitments.[4]
