Sinpaş Denizli Basket, also known as Pamukkale Üniversitesi Basketbol Kulübü is a Turkish professional basketball club based in Denizli which plays Turkish Basketball League (TBL). The team was founded by Pamukkale University Youth Sports Club in 2006. In 2014, the club's name changed to Denizli Basket. Their home arena is Pamukkale University Arena in PAU Kınıklı Campus, with a capacity of 5,000 seats. The team sponsored by Sinpaş which is construction company in Turkey.

History

Denizli Basket was founded as Pamukkale Üniversitesi Gençlik ve Spor Kulübü by Pamukkale University in 1998. The club participated in EBBL in 1998–99 season first time in their history. It was successful season for the club and they promoted to TB2L. Than, the club decided to end the basketball organization due the financial reasons.

In 2006, the team was founded again as Pamukkale Üniversitesi Basketbol of Pamukkale Üniversitesi Gençlik ve Spor Kulübü. The team began playing in the EBBL for 2006–2007 season. In the 2007–2008 season, the team promoted to TB2L as champion of EBBL. But the following season, the team relegated to EBBL again. Until 2013–2014 season, the team played unstable seasons between TB2L and EBBL (TB3L).

The following season, club GMs found a few sponsorships and name changed as Aydem Pamukkale Üniversitesi for sponsorship reasons. The club increased to budget for squad and club signed with veteran coach Gökhan Taştimur. League fnished to six and qualified to Playoffs. In the quarter-final, Aydem Pamukkale Üniversitesi beat Vestel, with 2–1 series. In semi-final, Aydem Pamukkale Üniversitesi lost to İstanbul BB with 3–1 series and lost the chance to promoted.

On 12 August 2014, the club changed its name to Denizli Basket. Now, the club is called Sinpaş Denizli Basket for sponsorship reasons.
