Danny Wayne Fife (born October 5, 1949 in Harrisburg, Illinois) is former Major League Baseball pitcher who played for the Minnesota Twins in 1973 and 1974. Fife was an all around standout athlete who was a three-year starter for the University of Michigan basketball team. He was drafted by the Milwaukee Bucks in the 1971 NBA Draft. Fife is currently the head basketball coach at Clarkston High School, (Clarkston, Michigan) and is considered one of the best high school coaches in the state of Michigan. His son Dane Fife is an assistant basketball coach at Michigan State University.
