Daniel Sorensen (born March 5, 1990) is an American football free safety for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Brigham Young. He served a two-year Mormon mission in Costa Rica from 2009 to 2010.

Professional career

Sorensen was signed by the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted rookie free agent on May 12, 2014. On September 25th 2016, Sorenson recorded his first career interception in week 3 against the New York Jets. On October 23rd 2016, he intercepted a pass from Drew Brees and returned it 48 yards for a touchdown in his first career NFL score.
