Cymothoe excelsa, the Scalloped Red Glider, is a butterfly in the Nymphalidae family. It is found in Nigeria, Cameroon, the Republic of Congo, the Central African Republic, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Angola.^[2]

The larvae feed on Rinorea species.
