Cormac Murphy (born 21 April 1993) is an Irish hurler who plays as a left wing-back for the Cork senior team.[1]
Born in Mallow, County Cork, Murphy first excelled at hurling during his scholling at the Patrician Academy. He arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of eighteen when he first linked up with the Cork minor team, before later lining out with the under-21 side. He joined the extended senior panel during the 2014 championship.[2] Murphy has since gone on to become a regular member of the team.
At club level Murphy plays with Mallow.
