Colin Reginald Thorne (born September 1952) is Chair of Physical Geography at the University of Nottingham.[1]
He was educated at Kelvin Hall School and the University of East Anglia (BSc; PhD, 1978).[2] He was awarded the Back Award of the Royal Geographical Society in 2016.[3]
