Chrix Dahl
Chrix Dahl (5 January 1906 – 16 June 1994) was a Norwegian painter and illustrator. He was born in Kristiania, and studied at the Norwegian National Academy of Craft and Art Industry and the Norwegian National Academy of Fine Arts. Among his teachers were Axel Revold and Halfdan Strøm. He made his exhibition debut in 1930. His illustrations include books by Bjørnson, Wergeland, Twain, Verne and Zweig. He is represented with several works at the National Gallery of Norway. He was a teacher at the Norwegian National Academy of Craft and Art Industry from 1945 to 1974.[1][2]
