Charles Sherman Haight Sr.

Charles Sherman Haight of Park Ave NY was born 8 Aug 1870 died 20 Feb 1938.[1] He was married to Alice M Hoyt Haight Feb. 18, 1867-Sep. 30, 1937 . He is the grandfather of Charles Sherman Haight. He was an Admiralty Expert, Specialist on International Relations in Shipping, founder of boys school and Founder of Seamen's Church Institute of New York and New Jersey.

His son Charles Sherman Haight Junior, born Jul. 31, 1903, died Apr. 18, 1968[2] father of Charles Sherman Haight married Miss Helen Margaret Edwards (Born: Mar. 18, 1906, Died : Feb. 28, 1984 [3] ) on Sept 07 1929, daughter of Mrs. Oliver Edwards of New York and the late Colonel Edwards in 1929 [4][5] [6]

Works

He authored a legal book about the laws relating to bills of lading A Pan-American Financial Conference was held in Washington, D. C, May 24–29, 1915, under the auspices of the United States.[7] [8]

Biography

Haight graduated as a Lawyer from Yale Graduate in 1892.[9] He worked at the law firm Haight, Griffin, Deming Gardner and was director of the United States Leather Company and the Maritime Association of the Port of New York.[10]
