Charanjit Singh (born 3 February 1931 in Mairi, Himachal Pradesh ( Then Punjab) ) is a former field hockey player from India. He captained the Indian hockey team that won the gold medal in the 1964 Summer Olympics at Tokyo, Japan.[1][2]
He is an alumnus of Col. Brown Cambridge School,Dehra Dun and Punjab University. He retired as Director Department of Physical Education in Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla. He currently stays in Una., Himachal Pradesh. He has two sons and a daughter Kiran.
