Chakkarpur is a big village in Gurgaon city of Haryana, India. It lies on 28.45645 and longitude 77.0032. Its pin code is 122002.[1] It has a population of about 16348 persons living in around 3836 households.[2]

[3] The majority of the natives are of all religions. Other villages in Post Office (122002,) are Chakkarpur and Nathupur. Ganpat Rai Nambardar was one of the most influential leader of the village during the british administration. Currently his grandson Mr Balraj Yadav holds the position after his late father Raj Singh Nambardar.[4] Village Chakkarpur situated in Ward No. 33 of Gurgaon Nagar Nigam. First Councilor of this Ward is Sunita Yadav.

Sahara mall pub fight

In August 2011 youngsters from Chakarpur village had a fight with Gujjar security guards of Fatehpur Beri village of Delhi for few days Sahara mall pubs were closed and authorities suspended the licences of the six pubs and insisted they hire private security guards. However the pubs returned in a few months, as did the Gujjar security guards of Fatehpur Beri. A brawl occurs in Sahara Mall every few months.[5]

Later Vinod Tanwar and Karan of Fatehpur Beri who owns four nightclubs in Gurgaon-The Empire, Ignite, Lucia and Powerplay [6] sent a fax and a registered mail to the Gurgaon police. He alleged that the youths were forcibly trying to enter even though only couples were allowed.[7] He claimed that one of the youths had identified himself as Cheenu, son of Mahesh Yadav, who is the chairman of Block Samiti.He also alleged that Cheenu's uncle Satbir Yadav had reached the spot with a pistol and fired at them. The complaint claimed that Satbir had entered the club with his aides. Karan has alleged that the villagers misbehaved with their customers and that the villagers armed with baseball bats beat up the bouncers. However Gurgaon police commissioner S S Deswal denied receiving any such complaint. Police however arrested three bouncers for beating up nine young men. [8]
