Chad Christensen
Chad Christensen was a member of the Nevada State Assembly where he served as a Republican and one of the two minority whips. He served from 2003-2005. He ran run for the Republican nomination to run in 2010 for the United States Senate but lost in the primary.
Christensen is a Latter-day Saint. He served an LDS mission in Argentina. Christensen has a bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University.
Christensen was first elected to the State Assembly in 2002.
Christensen has introduced a piece of legislation in the Nevada legislature patterned after Arizona's recent anti-immigrant law.
Christensen and his wife Ashley are the parents of five children. They live in Las Vegas.
