Cellulosimicrobium cellulans is a Gram-positive bacterium from the genus of Cellulosimicrobium.[1][3][5] Cellulosimicrobium cellulans can cause rare opportunistic infections.[6][7][8][9] The strain EB-8-4 of this species can be used fore stereoselective allylic hydroxylation of D-limonene to (+)-trans-carveol.[10][11]
