Carnival of the Animals (ballet)

Carnival of the Animals is a ballet made by Christopher Wheeldon on New York City Ballet to Camille Saint-Saëns' eponymous music. The narration was written by John Lithgow, who also performed in the premiere, which took place on Wednesday, May 14, 2003, at the New York State Theater, Lincoln Center.
