Camp Seven Hills
Camp Seven Hills is a residential camp in Holland, New York. It is owned and operated by the Girl Scouts of Western New York.
The 620-acre (2.5 km2) camp grounds are both rented out to various groups and used as a summer camp for girls age 5-17 during the months of July and August. The camp grounds are divided into two camps and are individually called Goodyear and Lakeside. Summer programs vary each year, but the camp is proudly accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA) and the Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA), both setting rigorous standards for program elements, staff qualifications, facilities, and emergency procedures/safety.
Camp Seven Hills - Goodyear
Camp Seven Hills - Goodyear is currently the home to the Seven Hills Girls Scout Summer Camp.
Goodyear facilities include:
- 4 tent sleeping units
- 2 small cabin sleeping units
- 2 large cabin sleeping units with electricity
- Inground pool/ shower complex
- Horse stables complex (22 horse stables) including riding arena
- Low/high ropes course with four different challenge levels (available by reservation only)
- Large pond with boating
- Dining hall with full kitchen
- Infirmary with small kitchen with residential apartment
- Sports complex (soccer fields, tennis, basketball courts, baseball diamond) w/ showers
- Arts and crafts, drama, nature study and photography buildings
- Office and "Tuck" shop (camp store)
- Unused farm animal pens
Camp Seven Hills - Lakeside
Camp Seven Hills - Lakeside is currently used as rented out space to girl scout troops and other organizations. Some areas are used for overnight camping trips or hiking by the Seven Hills Girl Scout Summer Camp.
Lakeside facilities include:
- 3 large lodges w/ power and plumbing (capacity approx. 50-250 depending on building)
- Dining hall with full kitchen
- Small ponds
- 4 tent sleeping units
- 1 small cabin within a tent unit
- 1 lean-to unit
- 2 units with kitchen shelters without tents, cabins, or lean-to's
- Infirmary
