The discography of CKY, an American alternative metal band, consists of four studio albums, one live album, four compilation albums, three extended plays (EPs), one video album, ten singles and fifteen music videos. CKY was formed in West Chester, Pennsylvania in 1998 by vocalist and guitarist Deron Miller, guitarist and vocalist Chad I Ginsburg, and drummer Jess Margera.[1] The band released its debut studio album Volume 1 on February 27, 1999 alongside Volume 2, which featured recordings and skits from the first CKY video.[1]
After signing with The Island Def Jam Music Group, the group released its second album Infiltrate•Destroy•Rebuild in 2002.[1] The album reached number 99 on the US Billboard 200,[2] number 108 on the UK Albums Chart,[3] and number 10 on the UK Rock & Metal Albums Chart.[4] The single from the album, "Flesh Into Gear", reached number 38 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart.[5] Infiltrate•Destroy•Rebuild: The Video Album, a video album featuring music videos for all ten songs on the album, was released in 2003,[1] which charted at number 34 on the Billboard Music Video Sales chart.[6] CKY returned with An Answer Can Be Found in 2005, which improved on its predecessor's chart position by reaching number 35 on the Billboard 200.[2] Single "Familiar Realm" reached number 32 on the Mainstream Rock chart.[5]
CKY left Island/Def Jam and signed with Roadrunner Records in 2006,[1] before releasing fourth studio album Carver City in May 2009 which reached number 46 on the Billboard 200.[2] The album also reached number 4 on the Hard Rock Albums chart and number 14 on the Top Rock Albums chart,[7][8] as well as number 119 in the UK and number 7 on the UK Rock & Metal Albums Chart.[3][4] In March 2011, the group released its first career-retrospective compilation album B-Sides & Rarities, followed by B-Sides & Rarities Volume II.[9]
