Kimpton Burnham Hotel is a boutique hotel in the Downtown Chicago Loop in Chicago, Illinois. Kimpton Burnham Hotel is located in the Reliance Building, a National Historic Landmark. Kimpton Burnham Hotel was designed by the architects Daniel Burnham, John Root and Charles B. Atwood. Using a radical steel and glass design, they created the Reliance Building in 1895, ushering in a new era of building design and setting the precedent for the modern skyscraper.
