British Neuroscience Association
The British Neuroscience Association (BNA) is a scientific society with around 1,800 members. When first established in the 1960s it was called the Brain Research Association, and was subsequently relaunched as the BNA in 1997.
The BNA is the largest UK organisation of its kind. Its members are involved in all aspects of neuroscience research, from ion channelss to human behavior to applications in the clinic and beyond.
Besides publishing a scientific journal, the BNA offers a variety of benefits to members, including discounts on books and reduced registration fees for meetings. In addition the society produces the BNA Bulletin magazine for members and hosts a range of events, including a large biennial meeting, the BNA Festival of Neuroscience.
